I Scream ~ You Scream ~ We all Scream for Ice Cream

//I Scream ~ You Scream ~ We all Scream for Ice Cream

July is National Ice Cream Month and July 19, 2015 is National Ice Cream Day. The hot days of July are the perfect time for delicious cold ice cream. Unless, you are among the many Americans who experience tooth sensitivity when you eat something cold. Did you know that treatment can and should be done if your teeth are sensitive to cold or hot? Sensitivity to cold and/or hot could mean that your tooth needs a root canal. Sensitivity can be caused from inflammation of the pulp (nerve & blood supply of the tooth). An inflamed pulp can be the tooth’s response to either decay, a crack, or trauma and is irreversible. Eating ice cream should be pleasurable and if it’s not, give us a call. We will have you eating your favorite ice cream in no time. In fact, we recommend it right after your visit. What’s your favorite flavor? Dr. Norton is a big fan of Louisville’s own Comfy Cow and loves their Georgia Butter Pecan and Banana Nana Fofana.
